Why do Italians look younger? I do NOT think that they are using any more organic face cream than you or me. I do know, however, after living in the country for over thirty years, that their diet is the key to this question. Fruit, vegetables and nuts all contain antioxidants too and there is nothing better for a healthy looking complexion. Antioxidants should be an important part of anyone’s diet. Why? Simply because they can fight the free radicals which can damage cells and cause aging, illnesses and general decline. . I am convinced this is why Italian look better and live longer. Their incidence of heart disease and cancer are also less than other industrialized nations. Gylcerine and mineral oils should NOT be part of any antioxidant face cream organic components. Another element which should have no place in any antioxidant face cream organic list of ingredients is ‘parfum’ as it is often listed. As perfumes are trade secrets, cosmetic companies can get away with this by using the French word and do not have to state the ingredients which are usually mostly alcohol. This is bad for skin health and the best skin care products are fragrance free.
